XchangeR Remote Mount Basement Ventilation Fan
Use this remote mount basement ventilation fan when you need to install the outside hood in a different room than the fan is installed in. For example, if you have a utility room toward the front of your house, but want the hood to be located on the side or back of your home, this is the fan for you. The X2R basement ventilation fan allows you to connect 6 inch flex duct to the fan to allow for a more flexible installation. The connections on this fan easily connect to flex duct and the connection is snug. This fan installs easy from a floor joist or truss or securing it to the wall and can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
Using this basement ventilation fan allows you to reduce the humidity levels in your basement at a fraction of the expense of running a dehumidifier. This basement fan will also help reduce the musty smell from mold and mildew in your basement.
The X2R basement ventilation fan does not include built-in dampers or a dehumidistat control so that you can choose the control option that is best suited for your use. This basement ventilation fan can be run on a optional dehumidistat control, standard plugin timer, or an optional speed control. The two fans on this basement ventilation fan are quiet and allows you to exhaust, supply or do a balanced air exchange in your basement.
