Shutter Fan - 12 Inch Indoor/Outdoor 3 Speed

Description

This 12 inch indoor/outdoor shutter fan comes fully assembled out of the box and provides you with smooth, quiet operation. It comes with a 9 foot pre-wired 115 volt cord with a 3 prong plug so that you do not need an electrician to install it, just install the fan, plug it in, and you are good to go. When the fan is mounted, the shutter side should be 7 feet above ground.

The aluminum shutter has a tie bar in order to eliminate the shutter flapping and opening up on windy days. The energy efficient enclosed motor direct drive high efficiency motors have completely sealed ball bearings.

The optional weather hood for the exterior side of the shutter protects your fan from harsh wind and weather.

Question: Can fan be mounted horizontally?
Answer: No.
Question: I see 2 cords in the image. One for the power and the other?
Answer: One cord is the power cord and the other is the on/off speed control.
Question: How much does it weigh?
Answer: Shipping weight is about 15 pounds.
Question: Why does it need to be 7 feet off the ground?
Answer: Osha safety requires the fan be mounted up 7 feet so no one is able to stick their finger or anything in the fan.
Question: Can you add a humidistat?
Answer: Yes.
